2026<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li><b><\/b>\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><b>Short Project Description<\/b><\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project focuses on investing in an energy- and resource-efficient business model through energy renovation of the company\u2019s operations, increased use of renewable energy sources, and the introduction of resource efficiency throughout the production cycle and product lifecycle. This includes ensuring sustainable sourcing of primary and secondary raw materials.\n\nThe project \u201cTransition of Oplate \u0160itum to an Energy- and Resource-Efficient Economy\u201d encompasses the construction of a photovoltaic power plant, installation of a heat pump system, and procurement of energy-efficient equipment to reduce energy consumption, increase the use of renewable energy, and improve the environmental sustainability of production processes.\n\nThe implementation of these investments will result in a significant reduction in CO\u2082 emissions, an increased share of secondary raw materials, and near energy independence, thereby directly contributing to the green transition and circular economy objectives.<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li><b><\/b>\n<h4><strong><b>Project Implementation Period<\/b><\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project is implemented from 1 October 2023 to 31 January 2026.<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li><b><\/b>\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><b>Overall Project Objective<\/b><\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To support productive investments by SMEs in energy-intensive industries, with the aim of achieving a more energy- and resource-efficient economy by promoting circular economy principles.
